We seek to appoint an Assistant Principal - Director of Sixth Form who will work as part of the senior leadership team to play a major role in the management and strategic leadership of the academy. The successful candidate will be the strategic lead for Sixth Form, shaping the vision, ethos and direction, and improving the quality of provision across all areas. Raising the profile of Abbey Grange as a quality academic Sixth Form.
We are looking for a dedicated individual who can:
- Rigorously market the Sixth Form and recruit the best of Abbey Grange KS4 students and fill the remaining PAN with quality students from other schools – with a clear focus on an academic Sixth Form.
- Improve the standards of teaching and learning, the behaviour and attitudes of the students and to quality assure the systems of the Sixth Form so that outcomes are outstanding and in line with those at KS4.
- Provide a curriculum of enrichment and progression so that the destinations of Abbey Grange Sixth Form students are aspirational, world-class and the very best that our students can get.
